Alabama man seen walking “strangely” had a gun in his butt — the sheriff’s response was classic

An Alabama man who was hauled into the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office for public intoxication was found to have been walking “strangely” at the jail because he had an unloaded Jimenez Arms .380-caliber pistol in his butt.

Jesse Roberts, 23, of Elkmont, police observed, “defecated on himself” and had a “familiar shape in the form of a pistol in his boxers.”

Someone called 911 on Roberts for prowling around after midnight.

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office released a statement about the incident that is priceless. That was obtained by The Smoking Gun.

The stolen pistol was soiled. A truck with Roberts’ wallet in it was also found in a ditch.

For his embarrassing missteps, Roberts faces charges of misdemeanor public intoxication, receiving stolen property, introducing contraband into a correctional facility and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.
