Appalling video of a woman 32 weeks along in her pregnancy clinging to the hood of an SUV driven by the father of her child has surfaced out of Houston, Texas.
According to KHOU, the incident, which was videoed by a passing driver, Gabriel Medina, took place Wednesday afternoon and police received multiple 911 calls.
A spokesman for the Houston Police Department told TheBlaze that the driver of the SUV has been identified as 33-year-old Anthony Adan Escovido, the ex-boyfriend of the 31-year-old victim and the biological father of her child.
Police believe that Escovido stole the keys to the SUV, which was loaned to his ex-girlfriend by one of her friends.
The story goes that the pregnant ex-girlfriend spotted Escovido with another woman in the vehicle and told him to get out. He responded by stepping on the gas and she grabbed windshield wipers, much the horror of fellow motorists.
The woman did fall off the SUV and suffered some minor cuts, but her child wasn’t harmed.
Only one hour later, police arrested Escovido and charged him with misdemeanor assault.
