18-year-old Robert Bever and his 16-year-old brother Michael Bever face five counts of first-degree murder in the slayings of their parents and three siblings.

David Bever, 52, April Bever, 41, Daniel Bever, 12, Christopher Bever, 7, and Victoria Bever, 5, were all found dead at the Bever household in Broken Arrow, Okla. on July 22 and police believe they may have recorded the murders.

A 13-year-old sister was stabbed but survived, while a 2-year-old baby girl was present at the time of the killings but was unharmed.

The bodies were discovered first by the police and the brothers were found hiding in the woods behind their property.

According to the New York Daily News via Tulsa World “police said video cameras were found near the bodies of three of the victims and appeared connected to one or more of the computers taken from the home.”

Additionally, “live footage recordings” from the cameras were found on a thumb drive along with with audio recording and pictures. The contents of the thumb drive are still unclear.

But a YouTube account with the name ColtEmpireOfficial and belonging to Robert Bever was recently discovered.  This was clearly filmed on cameras like the ones discovered by the police. Two videos on the account could be described generously as “weird,” particularly when viewed in light of the serious charges.

The Daily News adds that “one of the suspects ‘spontaneously uttered’ that plans for a ‘mass homicide’ could be found on a thumb drive inside one of the bedrooms of their home,” plans that were discussed during a police interview.

The next court day for the Bever brothers will be Oct. 9.
