A recent post to the video-sharing site Live Leak shows what happens when you lie to a bunch of veterans about being a Navy SEAL.

In the undated video, several veterans approach a man who is standing outside a bar, waiting for someone from inside to come fight him.

When the three men ask the stranger why he feels so confident in a fight despite his diminutive size, he explains that he was a Navy SEAL.

For several minutes the men humor the drunk valor thief, asking him questions that force him to scramble for a way to cover his lies.

“You guys wouldn’t know the area of of Afghanistan,” the drunk tells the three men, after being asked where he was deployed.

After one of the vets offers a friendly slap and identifies the group as Army Rangers, the three men decide to give the drunk a lesson in what stolen valor really means.

“Hey next time, don’t run your f*cking suck that you’re a Navy SEAL when you’re not,” one ranger says. “Now let’s get the f*ck out of here.”
