A special education teacher in Georgia has been charged with second degree cruelty to a child after she was caught on camera knocking over a boy.
71-year-old Karolynn Amelia Stripling turned herself in Friday, a week after the incident occurred.
Stripling can be seen on video using her knee to push the boy, who is reportedly a 4-year-old special needs student. The boy falls forward after being pushed, but he was reportedly not injured.
The incident happened at the Tift County Pre-K Center in Tifton, Ga., on March 17.
Officials say Stripling worked for the school system for more than 20 years. She has since resigned.
