Videographer Stanton Giles undoubtedly has seen some crazy stuff filming weddings. But watching a grizzly kill a moose is not something you generally expect to witness when a couple is becoming one.

But that’s what happened when Giles showed up to shoot a wedding in Glacier Park, Montana.
And it happened as soon as the groom was about to read his vows — which hopefully isn’t a sign of things to come for this particular marriage. He was getting ready to tell his wife-to-be all the reasons she’s wonderful, but before that could happen, the bear stormed out of the woods to attack a moose cub.
Needless to say, the wedding was briefly halted. Watch only if you dare.

Giles explained what happened in a YouTube video.
“Since I became a videographer, I’ve seen some pretty crazy things and I’ve been to some really cool places. But none of that is as crazy as when I saw a grizzly bear kill a moose at a wedding,” he said.
“The grizzly bear chased the moose off the mountain and down to the shore of the lake while the groom was saying his vows.”
He decided to stick with the groom, for the most part.
“Torn between being a National Geographic filmmaker and a wedding videographer, I held my camera on the groom until he finished his vows,” Giles said.
‘Til death do you apart? For one moose, that came much too quickly.
