Woman Arrested for Faking Kidnapping 4 TIMES to Extort Her Mother

A twisted woman was just arrested for extorting her mother for the fourth time by faking her kidnapping. Sending a terrifying and completely faked video of someone holding her hostage. The 30-year-old woman begged her mom to send her €50,000, or basically $50,000. What’s more, she’d already swindled $45,000 out of her mom on three previous occasions.

Per The Daily Beast, the translation of the video, which is originally in Spanish, includes:

“Mommy. They’ve kidnapped me, Mommy, and I don’t know why. You can’t say anything to the police. If you do, they’ll kill me.” She also said she was starved and beaten and that she wouldn’t be let free until her “captors” received the $50,000 ransom. The woman’s mother, in horror, delivered the money to a secret location demanded by the “kidnappers.”

Video of Fake Kidnapping Is Terrifying

In the video, there appears to be blood on the fake captive’s face. Additionally, she’s blindfolded, shivering with [fake] fear, and someone wearing a gloved hand is holding a knife to her throat.

The woman was later arrested in a casino on the Spanish isle of Tenerife along with four accomplices. The Civil Guard also found fake blood and the knife that was used in the video. They are all facing multiple charges including extortion and simulation of crime. They face a minimum sentence of 1 to 5 years of prison time just for extortion.

The Woman Extorted Her Mother FOUR Times

The craziest part of this story might just be the fact that this woman had already swindled her mother three previous times. The Civil Guard said that she used letters on those occasions. It seems that it was not until the mother had sent $95,000 in total that she went to the authorities.

The Spanish Civil Guard subsequently tweeted about the fake kidnapping plot. The comments section is consequently full of shame on behalf of the young woman, as well as accusations of her mother being a fool.

“In the end they took you for a fool…”

“What the hell is wrong with people, they are losing their [minds].”
