Zach Shallcross is returning to ABC as the star of the new Bachelor season 27. You probably recognize him from The Bachelorette, season 19. The 26-year-old tech executive (and music producer of some harrrdddd trap and dubstep) briefly dated Rachel Recchia but it didn’t work out.

Zach Shallcross’s Uncle is Patrick Warburton
Zach’s the nephew of Patrick Warburton, as in the Patrick Warburton from Seinfeld and A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Warburton played David Puddy in Seinfeld.
Puddy was known for his terrible choices (“You got a question… you ask the 8 ball”). He made brief appearances but always made people laugh. The Saab salesman dated Elaine and occasionally quoted the bible.
Warburton as Lemony Snicket
That’s right, Lemony Snicket himself is, in fact, Zach Shallcross’ uncle. According to the Lemony Snicket Fandom, Warburton was directly asked to play the role for Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. He initially struggled with memorizing the character’s script because of speech differences. But eventually, the role of Lemony grew on him. Warburton actually got Lemony’s tattoo — it would be the actor’s very first tattoo — at age 52.
The Tick
Warburton was The Tick, as in the superhero. Remember “The Big Blue Bug of Justice?” That was him, the star of the show, for its brief 9-episode, single season run on TV.
Men in Black
Patrick Warburton played Agent T in Men in Black II. Tee was Agent J’s partner and used to be a Marine.
Rules of Engagement
Warburton was Jeff Bingham in the series Rules of Engagement. Bingham was the sports-loving, overly competitive financial advisor and husband to Audrey.
Crowded
Warburton played empty nester Mike Moore in the 2016 sitcom, Crowded, on NBC. The series was about him and his wife, Martina (Carrie Preston) as they get wild for a brief second — before their adult children move back in.
Even His Voice is Famous
Warburton is the voice of Joe Swanson from Family Guy and Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove.
Zach Shallcross’s famous uncle actually has an incredibly long repertoire under his belt. And he did make an appearance on The Bachelorette in case you’re wondering. Uncle Patrick was part of Zach’s family when he introduced them all to Rachel.
Oh, and one more thing, Zach is a family man, too. He loves his momma. What more could a gal ask for?
