During a rally in Boca Raton, Florida Sunday afternoon ahead of the Florida primary vote, Donald Trump let slip exactly how he feels about protesters: he loves them and needs them.
While bragging about what a big deal he is and how massive a movement he is causing, Trump switched subject to complain about his media coverage. Trump explained he hoped there were protesters so the cameras would show the crowed and prove how popular he is.
In a hopeful tone, Trump asked if there were any protesters at the rally, and was clearly disappointed when none rose to the challenge.
Unless we have a protester the camera’s are never going to show the crowd. Do we have a protester anyone? Do we have a disrupter? Because unless we have a disruptor – I don’t even call em protesters, I call em disrupters – unless we have a disruptor the camera never goes off my face. They’re all live. They never go off my face. Is there a disrupter in the house?
It appeared Trump’s supporters did their job and successfully scared off any prospective protesters. With out any of the conflict Trump feeds off of, he was forced to start in on another subject to keep up the energy.
