Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders seems to be resonating with millennial voters, but there’s a new demographic “feeling the Bern” these days.
Sanders is all the rage on the baby scene. A new hashtag, #BabiesforBernie, is catching on as parents dress their infants in costumes resembling the Democratic presidential candidate.
Los Angeles artist Ashira Siegel created a Facebook group, “Babies for Bernie 2016,” where members share Sanders-related news and information. She’s also launched a website by the same name that sells baby gear and T-shirts featuring a sketch of her son dressed as Sanders with the “Babies for Bernie” logo.
Siegel told CNN she believes Sanders “has the best interest of the nation at hear.”
