Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted that House Republicans will work to impeach Joe Biden today.
Greene shared the impeachment documents she filed against Joe Biden two years ago, stating ‘Two years ago, I introduced articles to impeach Joe Biden on his first full day in office.”

This news comes as Greene has recently been placed on multiple committees following the Republican takeover of the House of Representatives.
Greene was placed on the House Homeland Security Committee and the House Oversight Committee, giving her far more pull in Washington D.C.
She was removed from her initial committee assignments during her first Congressional term. House Speaker McCarthy had pledged to return Greene to her committee assignments. These renewed calls for impeachment come as President Biden is embroiled in a controversy surrounding his mishandling of classified documents as VP.
This outlet reported yesterday that FBI officials allowed Biden’s lawyers to search for classified material without an agent present. House Republicans have stated that they intend to investigate Biden.
GOP Senators have signaled that they do not intend to support impeachment efforts in the House.
Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell has signaled from the beginning of the Biden Presidency that he would not support impeachment efforts. McConnell even hosted Biden in Kentucky weeks ago to “celebrate” the passing of the ‘American Rescue Plan’.
As controversy continues to surround the President, it will be interesting to see if anything could potentially sway the establishment politicians from their position on impeachment.
