Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has begun his revenge tour against Senators who have challenged his leadership over the last Election cycle.
Florida Senator Rick Scott, who challenged McConnell for Republican Senate Leader, was recently removed from his position on the Commerce Committee.

McConnell has also pulled Utah Senator Mike Lee from his assignment to the Commerce Committee. Lee supported Scott’s bid to oust McConnell.
Scott can be quoted as saying about the matter…
McConnell got to pick. He kicked me off; he kicked Lee off,” said Scott.
“I probably ran the biggest company almost any senator in the history [of the] country has ever run. I was governor of the third-biggest economy in the United States, Florida. I’ve got a business background,” Scott added.https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/02/01/mitch-mcconnell-retaliates-against-gop-dissenters-sens-rick-scott-mike-lee/
This comes as McConnell has recently hosted an event in Kentucky with Joe Biden, celebrating the passing of an additional $1.7 Trillion in government spending.
McConnell is making it clear, it is not ok to challenge failed Republican leadership. Those who do will be punished severely.
While we have been treated throughout Conservative media with sweet stories from the House of Representatives, few outlets are highlighting the activities of Mitch McConnell in the Senate.
He has been an unabashed supporter of Joe Biden since he was ‘elected’. Claiming from the very beginning that Biden will serve his full first term, and that McConnell would not even consider impeachment,
McConnell’s actions highlight those of a Republican Establishment that simply refuses to accept the issues that their base actually cares about, instead favoring their own political careers and gain. They align with Democrats to pass massive spending bills that will financially cripple our Nation for generations to come.
There is no excuse for their behavior. Especially the behavior of Senator McConnell.
McConnell has made it clear that he is no supporter of President Trump, and has stated that the Party needs to ‘move on’.
Absent from McConnell’s voting record is not only any presence of an America First agenda, but even a Conservative agenda.
Say what you want about the ‘Trump wing” of the Party, and what they believe in, but no Conservative is in favor of massive government spending.
McConnell wishes to paint his actions as those of a Conservative attempting to work with Democrats in order to pass legislation that both sides benefit from. That could not be farther from reality.
McConnell achieved nothing that could even be considered close to a Conservative achievement. He did nothing, and allowed the Democrats to have their way. He simply signed his name, playing on rough economic times to his voters by being able to claim ‘I gave you money’.
The truth is that most of the government money never reaches the people. That has been proven time and time again.
The Democrats get their spending bills, and the endorsement from our own Senate Minority Leader… What did we gain from this exactly?
Nothing. We gained nothing, and McConnell boosted his own status as a big government supporting bureaucrat. Punishing those who dare to challenge his failures.
Not exactly a recipe for success.
