In the 11th GOP debate of the election season, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump worked to assure supporters that he would be best positioned to beat Hillary Clinton.
“I beat Hillary Clinton in many polls…I’m the only one that beats Hillary Clinton,” Trump said during the debate just two days after both Trump and Clinton swept seven states each for Super Tuesday.
When questioned by fellow GOP contender Marco Rubio about writing “four checks to Hillary Clinton” for her campaign in 2008, Trump dismissed the claim, saying “it was for business.”
However, Ohio governor John Kasich said “I beat Hillary Clinton more than anyone” adding that “I can get the crossover votes.”
