After three straight wins in Nevada, South Carolina and New Hampshire, GOP front-runner Donald Trump is feeling confident that he will clinch the nomination—so much so that he is already discussing what he will look for in a running mate.
“I would want somebody that could help me with government, so most likely that would be a political person,” Trump said at a rally in Virginia. The GOP front-runner, along with presidential candidates on both sides, have been making campaign stops in Virginia ahead of the March 1 “Super Tuesday” contest.
“You want somebody that can help you with legislation, getting it through,” he said. While Trump did not name and specific names, he said “some of the people I’ve dealt with, I do have a lot of respect for and I like.”
Following his 46 percent win in Nevada, Trump is understandably feeling confident in the Republican race for the White House. “It’s going to be an amazing two months,” he said, adding “we might not even need the two months, folks, to be honest.”
