Tonight’s election has spoken volumes about America, just like every previous election. There are some Americans who are excited about the changing of the guard but others are worried. Earlier tonight Van Jones, a former Obama administration official, voiced the concerns of those Americans who might be frightened.

He describes the turning of the nation to a President Trump as a “whitelash,” saying, “we’ve talked about a lot of things, we haven’t talked about race.” And Jones related to those communities who might feel marginalized by Trump’s dialogue throughout this campaign season, stating, “Donald Trump has a responsibility to prove that he is going to a president to all the people he insulted.”
