Jon Stewart’s show has been off the air for just over a year, but he recently reappeared in the spotlight for moments to weigh in on the election. He even hosted Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” in July, and in May he called Trump an “unrepentant, narcissistic a–hole” during an interview at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics.

However, it’s been a while since we’ve heard from him, so he recently talked to “CBS This Morning” about the election and the rise of Trump.

Stewart says “nobody asked Donald Trump what makes America great” and that Donald Trump is not a Republican but rather that he’s a “repudiation of Republicans.”
