Country powerhouse Trace Adkins has a message for the troops and Trump Fox & Friends screenshot

Many people will say many things about Trace Adkins. Yet, there is no denying the love he has always shown for his country. From his tireless work with the American Red Cross to his money raising for charities as the winner of NBC’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice,” Trace’s dedication to the people around him is strong and proud.

Yet nothing seems to make him as proud as his work with the military, with Trace having performed 11 USO Tours thus far.

“We have men and women deployed and as long as they are deployed, we will keep going over there performing for them,” Trace said during an interview following his performance of his new single “Lit” as part of the Fox & Friends’ All American Concert Series on July 1.

In light of the Fourth of July holiday, Trace shared a special message to the troops. “We miss them,” he said matter of a factly. “We haven’t forgotten about you. We miss you and hurry home.”

Andwhen asked about presidential candidate and “Apprentice” boss Donald Trump, Trace had but one message. “I didn’t think he would run,” he chuckled. “We’ve been going and around every turn people have been asking me if he would run. I always said I never thought he would run.”

Guess again Trace!
