Carrie Underwood sure does love her country, and her home state for that matter!

She proved that when she lit up the stage on June 8, 2012 during the CMT Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee.

Not only did the country superstar pay homage to her native Oklahoma with a powerful rendition of “Blown Away,” but she also flaunted her true American spirit.

While soaring on the hit song, the blonde bombshell donned a vintage-looking, stars and stripes top and paired it with a glittery pair of short shorts. Oh yea, she also sported some super, sassy combat boots. But aside from her rocking a look of patriotism, our eyes couldn’t help but latch onto those incredible long legs! Boy, those things are enough to make boys’ drool and girls jealous. It makes us wonder if she’s ever thought about getting insurance on them!

More recently, Carrie blended her three loves — fashion, fitness and home — together when she dropped in on her old high school in Checotah, Oklahoma to shoot her CALIA Campaign.

“It always feels good to come home,” Carrie told EXTRA. “This will always be home. It’s always nice to drive through town and be like, ‘Well, that’s new’ or ‘Where did that go?’ Things change and evolve, but it still feels like home.”
