Game Analysis:

As expected the Heat came out firing in the first quarter of Game 3 giving them a 9-point lead going into the second. Jimmy Butler was a menace scoring 8 of Miami’s first 15, and he didn’t slow down there. Jimmy Buckets went on to drop 28 points and ultimately lead the Miami Heat to a 105-86 win over the New York Knicks. He also was  dominant on defense all game long. The Heat showed us how dangerous they truly are when playing at home in the postseason. If I were a New York Fan, I would be worried about the fact that the Knicks are going to need to win on the road to take home the series.

The Knicks struggled from tip to tail in game 3 and couldn’t mount any offensive comeback. They were fish out of water down in South Beach, and it showed. They didn’t hit their first 3-pointer until halfway into the second quarter and would end up going 8/40 from behind the three-point line. I’m not gonna sit here and act like the Knicks are a team that should live and die by the three-point line, but shooting 20% from three isn’t going to get you the win on the road against the Miami Heat. Mitchell Robinson was a bit of a non-entity, scoring only 2 points. While he may not have seen much playing time, the 14 minutes he did play were hard to watch. Mitchell Robinson wasn’t the only Knick who fell short of expectations in game 3 though. RJ Barrett didn’t make nearly as much of an impact in this one as he did in game 2. He was 7/23 from the field and only had 1 assist.

If the Knicks are going to have any chance at beating the Heat in South Beach this Monday, RJ Barrett is going to need to step up big time. While it is gonna take a lot, I do think the Knicks could have a shot at game 4. After the Heat took Game 1 in the Garden, this turned into a road series for the Knicks and they know it. Their backs are up against the wall in this one and I’m expecting them to come out strong. That being said, Jimmy Butler has been an absolute baller when he’s played this series and I’m expecting him to work his magic in game 4. I think the Heat are gonna come out on top in game 4 but don’t be surprised if the Knicks make it a close one.

This is going to be a tight, gritty series. I can only imagine that every game is going to come down to the wire. Bet on either of these teams moneyline’s & get $200 in bonus bets instantly!
