It’s still unclear whether the video was filmed on Friday since Dunne didn’t participate in LSU’s event. The routine reportedly last 20 seconds and ended with a very successful landing.
A Proud Mom
Despite being absent, the gymnast has continued to travel to meets and posted that it’s a “ great day to be a tiger,” after LSU defeated Georgia just last week. According to head coach Jay Clark, Dunne’s stress reaction had flared up following the Tigers’ meet against Arkansas. He noted that the junior is still likely wouldn’t compete for at least another two weeks, saying it was “a little bit frustrating.”
Dunne had also previously reported that she was recovering from a torn labrum in the weeks leading up to the campaign. Still, 2023 has been an eventful start for the gymnast and the Tigers. Several fans were chanting Dunne’s name outside the Jon M. Huntsman Center in a “scary and disturbing and cringey scene,” according to former gymnast Samantha Peszek. This prompted the LSU star to address her fans on social media following the season-opening loss to Utah.

The university reportedly also hired a security guard for a company. LSU’s next meet is on Friday, when the Tigers host No. 2 Florida, but her status for the event is still unclear.
