It’s safe to say that 2016 was a busy year for Carrie Underwood. Not only did she co-host the 50th annual CMA Awards, but she also traveled from city to city on her massive Storyteller Tour. Now that her tour has wrapped, the country star is ready to have some fun in the sun with her 1-year-old toddler, Isaiah Michael Fisher.

On Jan. 13, Carrie took to Instagram to let her fans know that she’s ready to kiss the cold temperatures goodbye!
Carrie posted an adorable picture of her and her son and included the caption, “#FBF (Flash Back Friday) to what I feel like was the last sunny day in Nashville. I’m about done with this gloomy weather. It makes me tired. And I miss playing on the slides at the park. I mean… my son misses playing on the slides at the park.”
The snap above shows the loving mother and wife to hubby Mike Fisher breathing in the nature of the outdoors and enjoying the fall foliage with little Isaiah. They look all bundled up in matching colored beanies and warm jackets. Carrie opts to wear her “CALIA by Carrie Underwood” clothing brand, while Isaiah sports a pair of camouflage pants. How cute!

Aside from daydreaming of warmer days, Carrie recently made an appearance at the 74th annual Golden Globes Awards, where she revealed to Ryan Seacrest with E News! that she has no major plans for 2017. She said, “I think I’m going to enjoy a little bit of time with my family, and then start writing maybe and just seeing what I’m ready to do.”
