Boy! In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte revealed that he and fiancee Kayla Rae Reid are expecting a baby boy this summer. The couple announced their pregnancy back in December with the most fitting Instagram post, and Reid’s pregnancy is going well so far.

“It’s a boy!” Lochte announced. “[Kayla is] doing amazing! She just finished her first trimester and everything. Now she’s starting to get her energy back.”
The six-time gold medalist said he’s been enjoying some pregnancy milestones with his former Playboy model fiancee, including feeling their baby kick for the first time, which Lochte thought was “awesome.” They even have a few baby names in mind and definitely plan on settling for “something unique.”
As for their wedding, the pair, who get engaged in October, have their sights set on a fall ceremony in California after Reid gives birth. Lochte insists he wants to be extra involved in the planning, but his only demand is that they go with a confetti cake.
“We wanna focus on the baby first, and then definitely get into the whole wedding and everything,” Lochte said. “I want to be a part of, like, every decision. I wanna help pick up the cake — well, especially the cake because I want to eat it all. But [I want to] help pick out the flowers and everything.”
