Lewis Black is one of the foremost political comedians on the circuit today. He has performed at the National Press Club and worked for the ACLU. The Washington-born comedian leans extremely far left, to the point that he openly admits that he’s a socialist, but he’s more often known for his brash, angry humor.

When he was asked to perform for President Bush, Black knew that the leader probably wasn’t a big fan of his. He said when he performed for the lawmakers, he said that it was “the longest twenty minutes” of his life and that afterward, he “felt like a whore.”
