It may not have been the world’s first conga line involving dogs, but it was definitely the best.

As relayed by the New York Post, 14 dogs formed a conga line in Germany recently, setting a new mark in the Guinness World Records.
It’s not known if the dogs were old, but they were taught new tricks by a man named Wolfgang Lauenburger. What’s more, the old record was nine, set by his daughter and her pooches.
Interestingly, Lauenburger now holds multiple canine-related records, including most rollovers by a dog in a minute (62), as well as most skips by a dog on its hind legs in 30 seconds.
This is what you call the dog-eat days of record-breaking.
Longest Canine Congo Line
As for the dogs who learned to congo, they have names — Bibi, Cathy, Charly, Elvis, Emma, Filou, Fin, Jennifer, Katie, Maya, Simon, Speck, Susy, and Ulf. It’s not been determined how long Lauenburger and the pups had to train to not only congo but do so with multiple others.
“As per the guidelines of the Guinness World Record, the dogs were required to move at least five meters while maintaining the pose,” wrote the Hindustan Times. “A conga line is basically a form of dance where people line up one after the other holding each otherās shoulders or waists while dancing.”
