We’ve been waiting most of our lives for it to return, and finally, we have reason to celebrate.

OK, not really. But McDonald’s has decided to bring back the Chicken Big Mac, and that’s a fact, Jack.
In case you’re wondering, this is just like the regular Big Mac, but with one obvious difference, and it may leave you wondering, “Where’s the beef?” Yes, that’s actually a Wendy’s motto, but it applies in this case at McDonald’s.
And the answer is, the beef has been replaced by chicken patties.
Chicken Big Mac
Believe it or not, the UK sold out of the Chicken Big Mac in the UK in a 10-day trial run. So it’s returning on March 29 in the UK and Ireland … and rumors persist it’s coming to the US shortly after that.
In the US, it would be a first. We think. Nobody really cares about the history of fast-food places as much as they do the present. And what beets two all-beef patties on a sesame bun? For fans of the Big Mac, perhaps nothing. But they may not be too chicken to try the new thing.
Apparently, it has consumers feeling good enough to cluck.
Interestingly, this wasn’t even the idea of McDonald’s in the first place. Instead, it started to become a trend when customers went viral by replacing the beef with the chicken patties on their own. It was such a hit that McDonald’s decided to cash in on their own.
Another trend started by customers — the Big Mac Double Cheeseburger. That’s when you order a double cheeseburger and tell McDonald’s to “make it a Mac.” So they will add the Big Mac sauce and lettuce. In this scenario, the double cheeseburger is just like the Big Mac, but on a different bun, and with no bun in the middle.
At some point, you’d think McDonald’s would come up for a name and sell that too.

Just kidding. Some things we don’t want to happen.
