Prior to the attack, one of the women threatened the cashier because the cashier did not respond quickly enough when the customer wanted money for bringing in bottles for recycling.
“She said, ‘Oh I’m gonna come back with my daughters, and you’ll see what’s gonna happen,'” the store owner, Pedro Goico said, via Fox 5.
The customer did indeed come back with several other women and attack the 25-year-old employee, identified as Lisbel Rodriguez Luna.

“No one ever attacked me like that,” Luna told the New York Post.
She added that she is afraid to go back to work, fearing that her attackers could return. But said she is going to return, anyway.
“I have to work. I need money,” she said, via the Post. “I need my job. I don’t know what else I can do.”
Luna said the incident began about a week earlier, when she called out the suspect for skipping in line to get her refund on the recycling bottles.
“There were two other women on line and she came around and handed me the ticket and I asked her, I said, ‘Miss, is it your turn? Did she give you her turn?” I asked, pointing to the woman who was waiting in line,” Luna told the Post.
“She said, ‘Bitch, that’s not your business. You better just give me my money. I’m going to kick your ass. I’m going to f—ing kill you. I’m going to bring my daughters and we’re all going to kick your ass!'”
Luna added it was at that point she took the money and gave the woman about $15.
“I was terrified,” she said.
The incident remains under investigation.
