The host of a Colombian television program fainted and collapsed, leaving viewers and co-workers concerned as she hit the floor fairly hard during a live broadcast.

Elianis Garrido, 35, was sitting on a stool as co-host of the state-owned Canal 1 show Lo Sé Todo (I Know Everything) when the incident occurred, per Jam Press.
A Scary Accident
Garrido can be seen quickly covering her face with her hands as she spins away in her chair, then collapsing and hitting the floor as the camera cuts away. Concerned colleague Ariel Osorio quickly called for a commercial break as crew members rushed to Garrido.
Once the show came back, it was revealed that Garrido was taken to the hospital. Osorio then told viewers that Garrido suffered “respiratory problems.” He then assured everyone that she was “fine.” That message was particularly delivered to Garrido’s mother, said to be a regular viewer of the show.
“She will call you soon, we will tell you what is happening with Eli,” Osorio said.

Garrido reportedly had been suffering coughing spells prior to passing out, something that had been chalked up to the weather and temperatures changing in Colombia.
Garrido has yet to publicly comment about the incident, though she did leave a message for her 6.2 million Instagram followers.
“Thank you all for your messages,” she wrote.
Thankfully, she is reportedly doing well today.
