“Oh Praise the Name (Anatasis)” is a beautiful song of worship to our King who gave His life for us on the cross.

These lyrics help us focus on the price that Jesus paid and remind us that Jesus is worthy of our praise.

I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me.
I see His wounds, His hands, His feet.
My Savior on that cursed tree

His body bound and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph’s tomb.
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forever more
For endless days, we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

Such a powerful song of praise to our Savior who gave His life for us!

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 NIV).
