TMZ reports that Hashian passed away after collapsing onstage on Wednesday night. Hashian’s son, Adam, confirmed the death and said the drummer was on the Legends of Rock Cruise when he suddenly collapsed. Witnesses said someone performed CPR and used a defibrillator, but he was not saved.

The cruise reportedly started on March 18 in Florida and made stops in Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. The cruise will continue, and fellow musicians plan to perform tributes to the late drummer on Thursday.
Fans will remember him as the afro-wearing Boston drummer who was featured on their self-titled album.
Hashian’s daughter, Lauren, has a daughter with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
