A customer at a California restaurant left a three-figure tip on a meager bill and rather than just tipping out to the busboy and calling it a day, the server decided to spread the love.

The diner at the House of Juju on Thursday rounded a $14.50 bill all the way up to an even $600, and Justin Glenn (the restaurant’s manager son of owner Julie and Scott Glenn) spread the love and shared the tip with all eight employees, The Fresno Bee reports.
“I just didn’t think it was real,” he said. “I looked down thinking it was 58 cents, and then it was, ‘OK, maybe it’s 58 dollars and … no, $600 was the total.”
A customer nearby said they heard the high-rolling diner say something about leaving a big tip. Rather than the customary 15 or 20 percent, the largess represented 4037 percent of the meal’s cost. But here’s the mind-boggling thing: that diner was one of a number of college age guests at a table of nine and his check was for a burger and a soda.
“Nobody was over 25 years old. That was the crazy thing,” Justin Glenn said. “For whatever reason they just decided to really give a huge blessing.”
