J.J. Watt loves helping others!

The football star and defensive end for the Houston Texans made that clear this week when he decided to help out a little boy after his favorite jersey, one emblazoned with Watt’s number 99, had been destroyed in an accident.
On New Year’s Eve, 8-year-old Noah Fulmer was injured, along with three other people, when a car driving fast and recklessly plowed into a crowd of people at a beach park in Matagorda, Texas. Fullmer had to be cut out of his favorite jersey when he was taken to the hospital.

On Jan. 2, a fan took to Twitter to alert Watt to the accident, and instead of ignoring the tweet, he quickly responded, “That is terrible, is he ok? Tell him I’ll bring him a new jersey tomorrow.”

Sure enough, the next day Watt headed to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, and hand delivered several new jerseys to Fulmer.

Thankfully, Fulmer is recovering well from his injuries, and hopefully, his days of recovery will be a little brighter thanks to Watt’s special gift.
