Just one week after cryptic images of Rob Kardashian looking larger than life were leaked online, Kim Kardashian is opening up to Rolling Stone about what her reclusive brother does all day while in hiding.
The reality TV star says Rob’s recent disappearance from the public eye is really “not that mysterious.” Kardashian tells the mag: “He has gained weight. He feels uncomfortable being on the show, and that’s OK. Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes.”
Well, that was blunt, Kimmy!
The famous family is worried sick about the only Kardashian son. During a recent episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians“, momager Kris Jenner admitted that she fears her son is going to die without the proper help.
Kim, Kourtney and Kris recently sat down with a specialist to discuss Rob’s unhealthy lifestyle. “If I don’t help him do something drastic, he’s going to die,” a teary-eyed Kris said to her two daughters during the session. “I’m just waiting for this horrible thing to happen and there’s nothing we can do about it.”
Sources close to the situation recently updated People on Rob’s current state. “He has retreated more. He’s sad, he’s bitter, he’s single. He is very depressed and has been for a while. The attitude has always been that when Rob gets his act together, starts working out and loses weight, everything will be good and he will be happy,” the insider dishes to the outlet, adding, “Behind this weight gain is this very unhealthy mental state that he keeps struggling with. Kris doesn’t want Rob on the show when he’s emotionally unstable.”
Back in march, Khloe revealed that Rob Kardashian is suffering from social anxiety. Khloe made the revelation during a Las Vegas appearance at 1 OAK nightclub. According to Khloe her reclusive brother is not in the “happiest place” at the moment as he continues to lead a life out of the spotlight.
Speaking to WonderWall, she said, “I just feel, especially over the last year, Rob has become very introverted and has a kind of social anxiety. He’s definitely not at his happiest place that he once was, and I know he can get to that happy place and he will. We all kind of get to a place where you don’t know where to go in life or whatever, so, I think it’s important for him to know that he always has people to lean on and it’s not unnatural for people to not know where to begin. It’s a growing process. I will always be his No. 1 supporter.”
It was widely understood that he suffered from an eating disorder and that this was one of the reasons that he had pulled out of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Red flags were raised when he returned from Italy last summer without actually attending the wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West after he reportedly had a fight with his famous sister just before the ceremony.
