What do all these names have in common? They’re all characters in buddy comedies.

That’s right. Hollywood has finally decided to capitalize on the bizarre friendship between the former basketball all-star and the North Korean dictator.

20th Century Fox has recently bought the rights to “Diplomats,” a comic take on Rodman’s several trips to North Korea in the name of “basketball diplomacy.”

The film is set to be directed by Tim Story, whose comedy flick “Ride Along,” starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, was released last month.

It would be no surprise if Rodman played a part in the film as he already has an impressive acting portfolio.

The former Chicago Bull forward has played a weapons dealer alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in “Double Team,” an Interpol agent in “Simon Sez,” and the coach of a midget basketball in “The Minis.” Clearly, Rodman was meant for the big screen.

If you haven’t seen “The Minis” yet, you’re really missing out on something special.
