Sure, a hairy whale sounds reasonable.
A 20-foot long, 2-ton hairy blob washed up on the shore in the Philippines, and so far, there is only speculation as to what it could be.
National geographic reports that the hair could be decomposed muscle fibers. No one will know for sure though unless additional tests are performed.
