Cocktails, champagne and a banquet of Indian food made specially for Johnny Depp and about 20 of his friends comprised Depp’s celebration after winning his defamation suit against Amber Heard.

Depp was joined by his musician friend Jeff Beck and others for the celebration at a chic Indian restaurant in Birmingham, England. The final bill ended up at about 50,000 Euros. That’s $62,720.
Depp has been hanging out with Beck, joining him on three of his latest tour stops in the U.K, and Depp joined Beck on stage during his performance at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall.
The restaurant’s staff and their friends and family had been sworn to secrecy about Depp’s visit were treated to autographs from and photographs with the Hollywood star.
The restaurant was closed to the public to cater to Depp and his entourage, and the festivities went just after 7pm to about midnight.
“We had a call out of the blue on Sunday afternoon saying that Johnny Depp wanted to come to eat with a group of people,” said Mohammed Hussain, Operations Director of Varanasi, one of the UK’s top Indian restaurants.
“I was shocked and at first, I thought it might have been a wind up. But then his security team arrived, checked out the restaurant and we let them have the whole place because we were concerned that he might be bothered by other diners.”
Hussain spoke highly of Depp.
“He was a very lovely, down to earth bloke who spent a lot of time speaking with the staff, our friends and family and was happy to pose for pictures with them. You would never have thought that he was such a big star. He had a lot of time for us all,” he said.
The meal included starters of shish kebabs, chicken tikka and tandoori king prawns.
The main course was butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, lamb karahi and king prawn bhuna. All the food was accompanied by nans, rice and salad.
Opting not to go for traditional Indian desserts, Depp finished off the meal with panna cotta and cheesecake.
A sold $62,000 celebration evening, and Depp picked up the check.
