Dr. Sandra Lee, aka Dr. Pimple Popper, explains in her latest video that it’s “mostly composed of macerated keratin (wet skin cells).” Yeah, that’s what creates the pasty content and pungent odor. And you can see exactly what she’s talking about in this video.
A husband accompanied by his wife came to see Dr. Lee so she could remove the bump from the right side of his face. While Dr. Lee was happy to help, it is her job after all, the man’s wife was super excited to watch it all go down because she’s a self-professed popaholic. “They are so cute together, and he had a great cyst to remove,” gushed Dr. Lee.
