After all, what would be better than a recording of an SUV slamming into the coffee shop where you’re putting together your podcast?
Actually, a lot of things would probably be better, or at least safer, than what transpired.
Alexsey Reyes and Nathan Reeves were the pair of podcasters sitting inside the Tout Suite coffee shop in Houston when the SUV disrupted their efforts. They use video for their podcasts — so the entire incident was captured for the world to see.
Reyes and Reeves uploaded the video to TikTok, jokingly giving it the title, “Hater Ruins Our Video.”

As the video revealed, just before the crash, the podcasters were pointing out how quiet it got inside the coffee shop. And then … yeah, not so much.
Thankfully, both emerged with one minor injuries. Another 10 feet, however, and that may not have been the case.
“It was unclear what led to the accident and whether the driver faces any charges,” the New York Post wrote, adding that no one else in the coffee shop was injured. Still, this could have gone way way worse, it ad definitely a close call. They are definitely lucky!
