Naturally, Amber Heard and her legal team took Depp to task for it.

In the video, Depp wrote as a caption, “we will all move forward together.”

Again, Heard, nor her team, saw it that way.

“As Johnny Depp says he’s ‘moving forward,’ women’s rights are moving backward,” a spokesperson for Heard told E! News. “The verdict’s message to victims of domestic violence is…be afraid to stand up and speak out.”

To all of my most treasured, loyal and unwavering supporters. We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together. We have walked the same road together. We did the right thing together, all because you cared. And now, we will all move forward together. You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD

Depp thanked his “treasured, loyal, and unwavering” supporters in his first-ever TikTok. He said “we did the right thing together, all because you cared.” The video has received millions of views and likes since its posting.

Depp joined TikTok on Monday and quickly added millions of followers before he even posted his first video. That number continues to grow.

Last Tuesday, jurors found both Depp and Heard liable for defamation against each other, but Depp came out the winner with $8.35 million judgment in his favor.

The jury found that Heard had defamed Depp when she described herself as a victim of domestic violence in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. The jury also found that Heard’s statements were false and made with “actual malice” against Depp.

Heard said that she was “sad” and “heartbroken” over the verdict, and Heard’s team has said that she plans to appeal.

Depp has already been rumored to have landed his first role since the trial.

For her part, Heard may be getting cut out of Aquaman 2 completely.
