Those who are willing to put in a little extra work can feast on these delicious sheet pan nachos from Southern Living. The secret is to prepare the ingredients in a skillet before slathering them on chips and popping the whole concoction in the oven.

You will need:

  • 12 ounces ground chuck
  • ½ cup yellow onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt, divided
  • 1 teaspoon pepper, divided
  • 9 ounces tortilla chips
  • 15-ounce can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 cups shredded Mexican 4-cheese blend
  • ½ cup red onion, minced
  • ¼ cup pickled jalapeño slices
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
