Fittingly, the series is being directed by Tim Burton, of Beetlejuice and Nightmare Before Christmas fame.

Along with that, we recently learned that Fred Armisen will portray Uncle Fester, alongside Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams. Armisen is the final main cast member — and rounds out the family. The cast also features Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley.

Fellow Wenesday, Christina Ricci, is also set to appear in the series as a teacher at Nevermore Academy. Armisen confirmed that for the role he indeed shaved his head instead of opting for a bald cap.

The series focuses on Wednesday Addams’ school days at Nevermore Academy, also attended by her parents. And, you guessed it, the show will make its debut on a Wednesday — or more specifically, Nov. 23, the day before Thanksgiving.

Fred Armisen, 55, is a longtime actor, producer and writer who co-created and co-starred in Portlandia the sketch comedy from IFC. Before that, he spent 11 years on Saturday Night Live, beginning in 2002.
