We all know that fast food is bad for you. You are definitely not supposed to order it every day. But if you do… it might just save your life. That’s exactly what happened to Domino’s lover Kirk Alexander. He was such a frequent customer at his local Oregon Domino’s that when staff didn’t hear from him for 11 days, they knew something was wrong.

Their involvement saved Kirk’s life in 2016.
The Ultimate Domino’s Regular: Kirk Alexander
Kirk Alexander loves his Domino’s. The Oregon man ordered from a local Salem branch of pizza shop every day, or every other day, according to employees there.
“His order pops up on the screen because he orders online. So we see it come across the screen and we’re like, ‘Oh, Kirk’s order,'” Sarah Fuller, who was the Domino’s general manager, told the Oregon station KOIN in 2016. Though he kept to himself, Alexander was definitely a dependable presence at the Domino’s.
Jenny Seiber, who was the assistant manager, told the Daily Mail that the customer was “quiet, but friendly and nice.” She also said he changed up his order often: pasta, pizza, wings, sandwiches… Alexander was a man of many tastes! “It’s never the same thing every time,” Seiber said.
So when the Domino’s didn’t hear from Alexander for a while, everyone knew something was wrong.
“We saw the last order was 11 days ago. We knew something wasn’t [right], that wasn’t normal at all,” Fuller said. She sent delivery driver Tracey Hamblen to perform a sort-of pizza shop wellness check. Hamblen knocked on Alexander’s late one night, but there was no response — even though she could see lights and the TV on inside. Hamblen then tried to call Alexander… but the call went straight to voicemail.
It was time to call 911.
A Life-Threatening Stroke
Marion County officers arrived on the scene to hear a man calling for help from inside. As Lt. Chris Baldridge, of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, told The Statesman Journal, they quickly found Kirk Alexander in serious need of “immediate medical attention.”
Though it’s unknown whether Alexander suffered from previous health problems, it appeared that he had a stroke. But thankfully, paramedics were able to revive the 48-year-old man and he was sent to recuperate in a hospital.
Various members from the Salem Domino’s, including Sarah Fuller and Jenny Seiber, went to visit him there. “We’re like a family here, and we were glad we were able to do something to help,” Fuller said of the experience.
