Most people I know balk at the idea of a public proposal. Being the center of attention and under so much pressure is too much for many. But some just have to show their love off to the biggest audience they can.
Don’t Say No: It was during the Tim McGraw show in Ohio that Trent decided to make his marriage proposal to his fiancée, Selina. He didn’t keep it low-key and stay in the crowd either. With a few special permissions, he managed to get up on the stage with her.
- In front of the full audience, Trent got down on one knee, mumbled something into the mic, and popped the big question. Selina said yes. And the crowd went wild.
Tim McGraw came over and congratulated the happy couple. He was even as gracious as to take a few snaps with them. After a couple of pictures, they headed into the crowd for many back pats and congratulations. I doubt the pair had to pay for a drink all night.

Not only did Tim McGraw let Trent make his proposal on stage, but he also gave them a song or two. After Trent had popped the question and they headed back to the crowd, the country star serenaded them with ‘The Rest of Our Life’.
Broadcast To Millions: As if proposing in front of a huge Ohio crowd wasn’t public enough, his show of affection also blew up on TikTok. It didn’t go unnoticed, and plenty of people whipped out their phones. Trent and Selina now have multiple angles of their happy moment.
