Jackson announced that he will perform the final full-length touring concert of his career called Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale. The concert will happen on June 27, 2006 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

  • “It’s been a long road… and it’s taken me places I never imagined,” Jackson said in a statement. “But I can’t think of a better place to put on a big show and give the fans a finale than in Nashville and include so many special friends.”

Details About the Concert: Jackson won’t be performing by himself. He’s put together an all-star lineup to help. That includes:

  • Luke Bryan
  • Eric Church
  • Luke Combs
  • Miranda Lambert
  • Riley Green
  • Jon Pardi
  • Keith Urban
  • Cody Johnson
  • Carrie Underwood
  • Lee Ann Womack

Jackson said it was important to end where he started. He explained, “We just felt like we had to end it all where it all started for me, and that’s in Nashville — Music City — where country music lives.”

How To Get Alan Jackson Tickets

Get Your Tickets: Pre-sales registration launched on October 8 at  www.AlanJacksonLastCall.com. The last day to pre-register is October 13.

  • Presales begin on October 15 at 11 a.m. ET.
  • Meanwhile, general public sales will begin on October 17 at 11 a.m. ET

Jackson plans to donate a dollar for every ticket sold to the CMT Research Foundation for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease research. It’s the disease the singer has been struggling with for years.

  • “I don’t want them to think I’m drunk on stage because I’m having problems with mobility and balance. I have this neuropathy, neurological disease I inherited from my daddy,” he said about his disease. “I’ve been reluctant to talk about this publicly, but it’s been a while, and it’s starting to affect my performance on stage a little bit where I don’t feel comfortable.”
  • He also said, “I just want people to know that’s why I look like I do, if they’re wondering. I don’t want to appear like some whiny celebrity. It’s not going to kill me, it’s not deadly… It’s not fatal — it’s just going to disable me eventually.”

Prior to the concert, Jackson previously teased it.

“We’re planning on doing a big finale show in Nashville next summer sometime. I just felt like I had to end it all where it all started, and that’s in Nashville, Tennessee,” he told fans from the stage in Milwaukee on May 17. “I’ve got to do my last one there. But this is the last one out on the road for me.”
