Matthew Wilson has worked for 12 years in the industry covering country music, lifestyle, and entertainment. He's written for Business Insider, USA Today, and Esquire. Matthew served as Managing Editor for Outsider as well as Gamer Journalist and PC Invasion. While working for the lifestyle brand Outsider and previously writing for American Songwriter, he fostered a passion for covering both Country Music and Classic Rock. In particular, he enjoys classic bands like The Eagles as well as rock ballad groups like Journey. While writing for Mashed and Daily Meal, he also furthered his culinary experience and developed a passion for food as well. He currently lives in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife, child, and pup. Matthew has worked for two years at Savage Ventures as a managing editor.
