Police in Brisbane, Australia, were called to a home following reports of a serious incident involving a lawnmower. They got to the property at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, where they found Ty Babbidge. He was declared dead at the scene after a tragic incident with his ride-on lawn mower.
According to the Courier Mail, the man became trapped under his ride-on lawnmower, where the blades caused fatal damage. According to the report obtained by the outlet, the police aren’t treating it as suspicious. However, they have no further information on the case at this time.

The 55-year-old man was a 10-year-long employee at Brisbane Real Estate, a father, and a loving husband. His life, ended under a lawnmower, has left many people shocked and grieving.
A statement by his former employer said that Babbidge was “one of the most generous, happy, and genuine people on this planet.” Continuing, he told the Courier Mail, “He cared a lot about others. He was a lot of people’s great friend, but he was very passionate and proud about his family.”
His family released an obituary for Ty, sharing their grief and the news of his death. “We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Ty has passed away. Ty was greatly loved by his family, friends, and the community. His warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others touched countless lives, and he will be dearly missed. We are grateful for your love and support.”
Being run over by a ride-on lawn mower is a horrific way to go, but it appears it was quick. However, his family will be left without their father and husband. They could use all of our support.
