Angry Karen: Footage from the scene shows the woman screaming at the man. The father had caught the baseball and handed it off to his son, creating a special moment. However, the woman was having none of it. Rather than let them have their memories, she went on a tirade.
- The entitled woman cornered the two of them. They can be seen cowering as she verbally attacks them at the Phillies-Marlins baseball game over the caught ball. Eventually, he gives in, not wanting to make more of a scene. The experience was spoiled for all of them.
Say You’re Sorry
The video of Phillies Karen stealing the baseball from the young boy went viral. People were shocked at her aggression. But one trading card retailer called Blowout Cards has stepped up to the plate.
- They’re offering $5,000 to the woman to return the baseball with the words “I’m Sorry” written on it. They want her to come forward and give back the stolen baseball to the young boy. However, I imagine she is too shame-faced to admit her mistake.
Screw that kid. Maybe your dad shouldn’t have caved so easy🤷🏼♀️ https://t.co/I60aDgl24x

Compensated Kid: Because of the incident, the Miami Marlins did step up after the game. They gave him a bag of merchandise, and Harrison Bader met him after the game and gave him a signed bat. So, it wasn’t a complete loss for the boy.
But it would be nice of him to have had that baseball catch memory without someone screaming in his face.
Since the incident, the woman dubbed Phillies Karen has been identified. The internet did its thing, and memes and parody accounts appeared everywhere. False rumors even went around that she was fired from her job. So, maybe, she might be in need of that $5,000 baseball reward.
