The Why: They shared why this hotel was selected for the challenge. It was selected because “it’s the longest-running hotel casino in the city.” Not only that, but it has decades of experience with:

- paranormal happenings

- phatom footstpes
- sudden cold spots
It sounds like a place I would steer clear of, but that’s just me.
The How: The lucky winner will be outfitted with all of the best ghost-hunting gear. The website writes, “The chosen ghost hunter will check in to El Cortez for a haunted weekend stay, where you’ll explore the casino’s oldest and eeriest corners, searching for signs of ghostly activity.”
However, just showing up and making it through the weekend is not enough; the rest of us want proof! The website then shares the details of what the chosen ghost-hunter is required to do during their stay at the most haunted Las Vegas hotel.
- Explore the property, including corridors, casino floors, and any space rumored to be haunted.
- Use ghost-hunting equipment: these findings need to be legit, so be prepared to purchase things like EMF meters, EVP recorders, and thermal sensors.
