On season 16 of American Idol, Benjamin Glaze made the highlight reels after playing a remarkably average guitar but landing a quick kiss on the lips of Katy Perry. During the show, the man admitted that he had never kissed a girl. With hindsight, that makes a disturbing amount of sense.
- Katy Perry, being the martyr that she is, offered up her cheek for the convicted pedophile to peck. His unenthusiastic attempt pushed Perry to ask for more. “You hardly even made the smush sound,” she complained.
- As Benjamin Glaze moved in for attempt number two, she turned her head at the last minute, tricking him into kissing her on the lips. His reaction is to stumble backwards, falling over himself, stunned.
Initially, it seemed that this American Idol contestant was just a shy little guy, embarrassed by women. It turns out that he was actually interested in kids, not grown adults. A police investigation found that the American Idol contestant was in possession of more than 700 instances of child pornography.
Police Arrest American Idol Pedophile
The news of the American Idol hopeful’s arrest broke on Facebook. The announcement stated that using a police unit specifically searching for abuse, they were able to uncover his heinous crimes.
- “In April 2024, the Tulsa Police Sexual Predator/Digital Evidence Recovery Unit (SPIDER Unit) received information regarding criminal activity of Benjamin Glaze, a 26-year-old male who lives in Tulsa. Through the investigation and search warrant, Officers recovered a smartphone with more than 700 images and videos of child sexual abuse material.”
As a result, Benjamin Glaze will face 25 years, with 15 years served in custody, and 10 years suspended. He has been convicted by the Tulsa courts and will pay for his crimes.
Shocked Fans: The release of both the American Idol contestant’s face and name has garnered a lot of attention. Keen-eyed fans quickly recognised Glaze as the seemingly shy contestant who kissed Katy Perry.
People thought his reaction to the quick peck from the pop superstar was cute. However, it appears his shocked reaction was for much more sinister reasons.
