Johnny Carson reads kids’ letters describing how to cook a Thanksgiving turkey (2:10). Johnny Carson also jokes with Doc Severinsen about eating lasagna for Thanksgiving and visiting Tommy Newsom’s show with some great moments as they discuss all of these things.
The kid letters are fantastic because they are just answering the question posed to them, “How do you cook a turkey?” The kids letters are awesomely honest and truly from the innocence that makes us all love a child’s input. The best ones are when they get specific with how long to cook it like a few kids who suggested times like 4 minutes, 100 hours or just, until five o’clock.
