Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been together since they met at an event in 2005. They first crossed paths during an event promoting Australia. They were married only a year later in 2006. However, after almost 20 years, they have decided to go their separate ways.
Sources Say: According to a source acquired by TMZ, the pair have been living apart since the beginning of the summer. The source, who claims to be close to the two, says that Nicole has been looking after the two kids. They claim she has been “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”
- Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have two children. The eldest, Sunday Rose, is 17. Her sister, Faith Margaret, is 14. The breakup will come as a shock to the two young women. The youngest isn’t quite ready to move out yet and will be a part of the breakup.
A One-Sided Breakup
According to a source close to Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, the split is not a mutual one. They claim that Nicole has been trying to salvage the relationship. However, it simply isn’t working for Keith.
- Keith has gone as far as to splash out and buy himself his own residence. This has allowed him to fully move away from his wife and give himself space. The source informs us that “Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home.”
The two shared a home in Nashville before their split. He has not left the city and continues to live close to his family.
Making it Official: At this point, the true extent of the split is unclear. Whether this will simply be some time apart or a divorce is yet to be seen. There haven’t been any official reports from either of them.
Almost 20 years together is a significant relationship to simply give up on. With two kids, a home, and so much shared history, it won’t be a simple decision for either of them.
